Tournament Info

Who may participate
All clubs, which are members of their FIFA affiliated national associations, are welcome to participate in the Cordoba Cup. The tournament begins with group play. Teams are divided into groups of three, four or five, where all teams are playing each other once. The first and second teams in the group qualify for “Golden Cup”, the other teams in the group for “Silver Cup”. The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA or Argentina rules. All players must be insured, both for games and leisure time. Arrival for all teams is the prior day of tournaments beginning. Kick-off for the preliminary round games are on December 14th, 2021 and February 24th, 2021.

Boys
B17 – Boys born 1/1-2004 and later
B16 – Boys born 1/1-2005 and later
B15 – Boys born 1/1-2006 and later
B14 – Boys born 1/1-2007 and later
B13 – Boys born 1/1-2008 and later
B12 – Boys born 1/1-2009 and later
B11 – Boys born 1/1-2010 and later
B10 – Boys born 1/1-2011 and later (7 - a - side)
B09 – Boys born 1/1-2012 and later (7 - a - side)
B08 – Boys born 1/1-2013 and later (7 - a - side)
B07 – Boys born 1/1-2014 and later (7 - a - side)

Girls
Free – Girls born 1/1-2004 and earlier

Number of players per team
There is a limit to the number of players in each team. For 11 a side the number allowed is 16 and the 7 a side the number is 12 players. However only 5 substitutes are allowed in each match in 11-a-side and 5 in 7-a-side. All players must be able to show proof of age and identity. We recommend that all players use the same shirt number throughout the tournament.

Number of teams in the tournament
It is our aim that all teams wishing to take part in the Cordoba Cup should be able to do so. But please note that during last years the tournament has not been able to accept all teams that wished to enter. There will be a maximum of 300 teams (including 200 local teams). The teams paying their entry fees first will be given priority. A club may enter the number of teams that they want.Categories of participation

The first meal is dinner on the arrival day in each tournament and the last meal is breakfast and lunch on the last day in each tournament.

Category C – Own Accommodation

Teams arranging their own accommodation. All participants in this category need to pay a participant fee USD 200.

There are a limited number of teams accepted in this category.


Please do not keep any money or valuables in your accomodation.


Cancelation of the tournament and Force Majeure
In the event that the tournament cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organizers (force majeure*) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organizers, the tournament organizers cannot be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders. financial losses, etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration/accommodation fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties. Cordoba Cup is in no way responsible for injury or economic loss which may arise in the case of war, warlike events, civil war, revolution or civil disturbances or because of the actions of the authorities, strikes, lockouts, blockades or similar events.

Entry & Payments
Register via our web page www.cordobacup.com The team fee together with the completed application form must be received by the Cordoba Cup no later than November 15th, 2021 and February 10th, 2021. The accommodation fees must be paid no later than November 10th, 2021 and February 10th, 2021. The team fee can not be refunded. Note that all bank transaction fees have to be paid for by the teams. You have to pay in the currency USD. Please observe that we do not accept any personal or company cheques.
